A busy, well-established, technology-focused dental practice in Surrey’s Strawberry Hill is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join their team. The practice provides general, cosmetic, surgical, and emergency dental care and is looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist with fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and other general dentistry procedures
- Provide chairside assistance during Invisalign treatments
- Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure patient comfort throughout treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following sterilization and safety protocols
- Provide excellent patient care and answer patient questions as needed
Compensation:
- $31–$36 per hour, based on experience and Tracker proficiency
Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Closed Saturdays on long weekends
Requirements:
- Registered as a Certified Dental Assistant with BCCOHP
- 18+ months of CDA experience in Canada
- Tracker experience preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
